Check my Office 365 account for malicious rules
Sometimes when an Office 365 account is compromised, rules are put into place that move your inbound email from one folder to another. To you, it looks like you're missing emails when really those emails are being sent to a random folder without your knowledge. If you suspect that your account has been compromised, you'll need to check for and remove any rules that you didn't put into place.
- Sign in to Outlook.com. Use your Office 365 email address and password (your GoDaddy username and password won't work here).
- In the top-right corner of the page, select Settings > View all Outlook settings.
- Choose Mail from the left-hand column and then select Rules.
- You'll see a list of rules and can delete any that you don't recognize.
